Gear Heads
Producer’s Thought
“Gear Heads” was a challenging project, with a single day of shooting encompassing multiple locations and setups. We extend immense gratitude to our dedicated crew whose tireless efforts made it all possible; without them, this endeavor would have been insurmountable. Anticipating the time constraints, we crafted a strategic plan to streamline our location transitions, maximizing efficiency. By consolidating three scenes at one location and minimizing company moves, we good use of our time. With a modest budget and strict time constraints, we heavily relied on our network. Ben Stevens and Matt Shay, both actors and associate producers, played instrumental roles in securing locations. Another one of our actors, Alvin Tam, leveraged years of experience as a circus performer and stuntman to facilitate choreography on the spot alongside Director Jordan Powers. Meanwhile, Director of Photography Harrison Mendel coordinated additional shots with the crew. Despite the inherent challenges, our team enabled us to achieve our goal, “Gear Heads”.
