“Making art is a constant battle, but hopefully a good and fruitful one. It’s a Good Fight”
- Benny Hannya

Producers Thoughts

This film production was conceived to support a collaborative fashion-art capsule we produced and released in partnership with Kelowna-based tattoo artist and shop owner Benny Hannya. Titled “Good Fight”; our inspiration was the struggle any artist experiences when creating their work, and expressing their vision:

Every component of this project was not only a testament to the theme, but also an exercise in the application of the mindset and the process, as individuals and a collective. From the onset of the planning, product development, filming and editing, to the digital marketing campaign and official release; this project redefined and reset all expectations moving forward. The production was executed flawlessly, and the result exceeded all expectations. Our audience was amazed at the quality and professionalism, with more positive feedback and recognition continuing to this day.

The storyline for the actual “Good Fight” short video fit the vision beautifully, and we were blessed to be supported by a crew of talented film professionals who were willing to go above and beyond “good enough” from start to finish.

This project felt like a marker for us as a brand, as artists, as business owners, and as individuals. The recognition has spread beyond our initial hopes, while the relationships we made during the process will last a lifetime. As much as we’ve raised the bar for all our future endeavours, we look forward to the challenge… after-all, we’re here for that Good Fight! - Sean Whyte Co-Owner of Grey Hearts Denim

Clients Thoughts

Good Fight was the epitome of a community project. 14 crew, 23 cast - all voluntary! With four locations and all of the gear donated. We created this project in a day and a half, possibly with any professional-level crew. I am so proud of the team assembled, and the hard work and dedication shown from each individual to create this project, for us and the community. We have fought the Good Fight, proving that we/the Okanagan are more than capable of creating productions of the highest caliber. Good Fight showcases all levels of talent the Okanagan Valley has to offer, going on to win ‘Best Commercial’ at the Okanagan Screen Awards - I couldn’t be more proud! - Noah M. Dorsey
