Windmills - Album Release
Director and Producer - Noah M. Dorsey
To release his album what need is there to weep?, Windmills had a strong vision of what he wanted the shoot to look and feel like. With my history in producing music videos, I knew exactly how to accomplish his wishes. We created a series of social media posts; 24 posts from a three-hour session of shooting. He and I were aligned in so many of our ideas that this shoot was natural and easy for both of us. Windmills is a true professional and artist, it was a joy to work with him. - Noah M. Dorsey
Producer’s Thoughts
what need is there to weep?, is a record about a hope disguised as a record about love, loss, grief, and growth. It evolved from the concept that every ending is truly a new beginning, that there are answers to our call and beauty hidden in plain sight all around us.
“I challenged myself to create this record & release something new that still sounded like Windmills, something foreign & familiar. My hope is that the listener connects with the story they hear in front of them, that they connect to the feelings & emotions it brings up, & they choose to find hope in it all,” says Cory Myras (Windmills).
